I don't want to sound rude, but curious of your age at retirement. In Australia we retire at 65 and get a pension, it is means tested though on your assets but doesn't include your family home.
I'm turning 50 this year and have made no plans for retirement, but realise that the next 15 years will go very quick.

I thought yrs ago about after retiring to keep selling rootx like a milkman and have a route but after thinking I would not be any good to them if they had an unexpected stoppage (NO MACHINE NOW TO RECLEAN THEIR LINE) ,but WTH I sold it since it was Toby,s and can count on 1 hand the callbacks that I have had(and never had a problem with statewide sending me a replacement under their warranty) that stuff really works but I will leave the rootx to the active guys in my area my day in the sun has shined
