    Default Micro drain purchase time

Time to pony up and get a MicroDrain. The D65S 37468 looks like what I want to go into toilets and use with my cs6 monitor. Do I need to buy a cord to the monitor? Good choice?

    Best place to buy it?

Toilets without a good camera can be uncertain.

It won't go through all toilets and some are a PITA, still a good reel to have in the van. You will need a interconnect cable ( https://www.ohiopowertool.com/p-3106...FUM2gQodDzIJqg ) to run your CS6 and they don't give them away. You would be better off just buying a CA-300.

Why? Better picture or ease of use? Over all price?

    (What happened to the pack?)

Because the cable is almost the cost of the CA-300 but it's nice to have both.

They got destroyed. 15 players on IR and more got hurt during game :/

For just the toilet we bought one of the hand held type. It is good enough to look and see if there is something in the trap of the toilet. Don't remember but the cost wasn't much.

I have a cheap one from harbor freight that sorta works.
No picture after a very short distance.

Ridgid has one but I'm thinking it's not really any better.

    Default Micro drain and locator

Still haven't pulled the trigger on a Micro Drain. Thinking of just using my cheap hand held for toilets and getting a micro Reel. Better pushing for floor drains and other small lines.
I've been busy so I can justify my procrastination.

Today, inspected a line for an excavator. Could have made more money if I had a locator. Their pricey and not sure how much I would use it but have had a couple of inquiries for one.

You all use locators much or even own them? Might be one more thing I can do other than haul cables down steps.

I would take the microdrain over the microreel if I could only have one. You already have a large reel, right?

I use my locator several times per year. Not much but better than turning work down.

I sometimes use my locator but i do minor sewer repair work too. (Nothing over 5' and never the whole line) we do that scope of work, just not me. Honestly if you dont do repair work a locator just a waste of space in the truck and total waste of money.
