    Default Ice

Ice storm here today, nothing moving. If I get any calls they are going to have to wait. I don't think I could even get out of the drive. Hope it will warm enough to start melting but doesn't look likely. Just a good weekend day to sit by the fire.

Southern areas don't do well in winter storms.

Here we just say, "Hold my beer and watch this".

We got 6-10 inches depending on what end of town.

Were sending it your way, Azzzzz

Dam snow will keep the lakes from freezing well, ice fishing will be a bit late.

Keep your pole in the water.

Checked the weather last night after a job and it was 5 degrees and 25mph winds. Power feeder froze twice during that job had to have the ho keep bringing me hot water.

Doesanyone know how to prevent this?

    -18 this morning,

I've been spraying penetrating oil on the connections of my Eel cables, WD40 on the locks and keys of my truck. Try one of them.

Yup. It actually 3 times last night. Once at one job and twice at my last. Ran 5 sewers and a kitchen sink. 4 of those were on outdoor cleanouts and the high yesterday was 18. Never imagined that kind of cold growing up in Louisiana.
