Default Going back to roto rooter

Put in my two weeks notice Tuesday. Things are going down hill here, we have some kid who just got into a truck that doesn't even know how to pull a toilet. My equipment was in desperate need of repairs. The spartan 1065 will not spin in reverse at all, and the kenway Jr I was supplied with has a broken drum they're dragging ass on getting parts for. I have been forced to only use my own k50 for sink lines for the past month. And we only have me and 2 other night guys one of which can't even pull toilets. I was ready to go back when my friend over there called me. I'm excited for better equipment, a more relaxed work environment, higher commission, and competent coworkers.

    Cable, Good Luck.
We have just been a OMS since 1952 and Roto-Rooter equipment has been great for us. It has held up and I am still using the old 55. I have a 8255 in the shop as a back up as I think the 55 is built better and has more power. I also think the cables and blades last longer. I know some of the Service Company's out there don't care as much about the costumer as the OMS does. Some times I catch hell here for being Roto-Rooter but it is not the name it is the service I provide. We have had the Franchise to long to go out on my name which I could. The trouble is giving up the Franchise after having it so long. If someone else came in and picked up the Franchise I think I would be losing some business.

Wichita's roto rooter is pretty legit. Small family owned branch that strives for the absolute best. They taught me all the values I reflect in my service. It's gunna be great to be back. Absolutely the best in town at what they do. Wanda and Rita are wonderful people to work for too. I've been itchin to go back ever since their insurance company dropped me(had a suspended drivers license long ass story). No more rootx or beaten up poorly doctored spartan equipment for this guy! I did do the right thing and left 2 weeks notice at my current company. They are hurtin for man power, but so is roto. I'm the only one on this weekend so I couldn't just leave them hangin.

Yes Wanda Farmer. As far as I know she owns franchise rights to 4 counties, but it's all based out of 1 shop here in wichita. Do you guys know each other?

Same thing in Miami. RR doesn't have a great name amongst some of the local plumbers, but I have found that it's all about the guy. Some don't know squat and are only out to sell and pad the commission. Others are great and have given customers great advise.
