I'm not lowering jack! Fuel might be down for now but nothing else went down.

I may be the wrong one to comment on this since I am not an owner, but when gas prices go down I don't feel that it warrants a drop in charges. You still need to go out, traffic is still the same and people still drive stupid. Fluctuation in services makes people question if your rates are solid. I'd you charge less to go out now than you did a year ago are you just flying by the seat of your pants? Lastly travel charges reflect more than just the extra gas, there is the factor of going out of your normal working area, more time spent in transit to and from that job, and the potential loss of work to those fennicky costumers who open the phone book and call 4 people at once(get a lot of those jackwagons around here).

plus when gas prices go down groceries and utilities still cost the same. They still seem to increase when the gas goes back up though.

Zackly! Did the price of beer go down?

Still in the $1.60's and $1.70's here...

$3.78 a gallon in Melbourne Australia, absolute bargain, hasn't been this cheap for 15 years or so. We buy it by the litre, and the price has just dipped under the $1 mark per litre, so psychologically, it is very pleasing.

Good to see the forum up and going.
