Default Might be time for some new cable

Just an example of how awesome dcd cable is. 3/4 hollow core, I've been using it for a year now and it was used when I inherited it. This cable survived 20-30 sewers a week during the busy season and is still surviving the 5-10 sewers a week this last few months. Still, maybe it's time to retire it, I have no idea how old it is and it's getting pretty floppy. I can't imagine pushing durable half this long though. Thank you dcd for making an excellent product.

That's when I dump them. Too soft is no good, especially 3/4". My Spartan 3/4" cables are still going strong almost 3 years later.

I just had a 3/4 cable flip over on me in a 4" cast iron sewer. My punishment for not retiring it. Had to wench it out. In my defense, I was trying to limp it along until my new cable came in....

I know. It really didn't seem that limber to me though. I haven't had it for that long either. mabey six months. And it was spartan cable...hollow core though.

Even hollow core shouldn't of flipped. Please don't take this the wrong way,but were you pushing the cable real hard ?

No. But i was going faster than I probably should have been. I think it was my third time going down the line and I was rushing. That is usually asking for problems.
