Have you looked into Mytana? They are here in St. Paul MN and have a very decent system. I Have B&W large scale set up with recording capabilities and also their mini system for smaller lines such as floor drains. Both of these are interchangeable with each other. their push rod is very durable. I also have their locator. I am very satisfied with this equipment. I did 2 main line inspections today, both homes that are for sale. Talk to Dale or Mike at Mytana. Mytana.com

And you could buy a combo set (small and large) and locator for the price of the name "RIDGID". Mytana number is 1-800-328-8170. I will put my camera and locator up aginst anyone. 100.jpg004.jpg

I've read good things about Mytana cameras on this forum but I'd be surprised if their locator beat a Navitrak 2. That thing is awesome.

I have used both, the navitrak 2 is faster in finding the general location but if you take your time in locating its not any more accurate than the Mytana. I am good enough that I guarantee my locations, and I don't hear any one else doing that. And the current price for the Mytana ACCU-STIC 512 is $1,399.00. That is about a grand less than the Navitak 2, of course you don't get the name Ridgid on it.

First picture, the left is the mini system, and the monitor in the center. How much real estate does that take up, combined? What size lines can you use that in?

I believe what your saying about Mytana. I've been on the money every time so far with the Navitrak. The only time it gets a bit tricky is if the line is deeper than 12' or so. Other than that, it's been fast and dead accurate. The Mytana unit was on my short list of cameras to buy. Like I said, I've read good things. In the end I went with Ridgid. It was a big investment, but worth every cent.

The real is 13' wide X16" X 17' high it weighs aprox 20 lbs. I have the old style monitor but the new monitor is a brief case. The mini push cam is good for 1 1/2" to 3" lines. But once you have this set up all you would need is the large camera and as you see in the photo you can put a skid on it and you can do 3" on up and it will go 200' the mini is good for 100'. But they have a MS11 which is a mid size camera that is good for 3" to 4" lines and it comes with 150' of push rod. It is 14"X20"X22" and weighs 40 lbs.

Your going to wish you had 200 feet the compact is a good camera. If I were you I would get the Ridgid mini with 200 feet and choose a monitor that records.
