    Default Advice for my website

    http://allureplumbing.com/

What doesn't make sense? What do you want to see?

One, need to write down the cities I service......per Redwood.

    Anyone else's opinions are appreciated.

I had mom look at it. She said you need to dumb it down. your speaking plumbing and the only one that understands plumber is an other plumber. And they don't need your services.
Drop it down to a fifth grade level.
    I can clean any line.
I have a $11,000.00 piece of equipment that can find leaks.
I can camera inside your pipes to find and locate your problem.

I thought a lot about my wording. I was afraid to "dumb it down" too far because I was afraid I may offend others. I have been wrestling with this problem for a while. I may go to my Facebook friends and ask them to look at it, for a non-professionals view point.

When I did mine my mom said if you have to explain it to the guy doing the computer geek stuff , just explain what you are doing and have him rewrite it.

Well lets see how it looks...
And I'm not talking about appearance, that doesn't do anything if no one gets there...

A Google search for Allure Plumbing and you are #1, that's a good sign, as the company name and domain name are a match and if you didn't come up #1 it would be an indication that the server should be wiped clean and just start over.

Next lets do a site search for Allure Plumbing and see how many listings you have with Google...

Okay 4 pages listed, the Home Page, Services Page, News Page, & Manufacturers Links Page....
Whoa! 24 outgoing links to manufacturers! How about deleting that page or just turning it in to a list without links.
Let the manufacturers get their own customers to their pages!
Aren't you trying to get people to your pages and not send them somewhere else once they arrive?

Next since Thomasville NC is the only indication of where you work on, the pages we'll confine our searches to that location and see how your services list.

Plumbing Page 6 #6 Thank goodness for a good listing in Google Places!

    Plumber Page 6 #6

    Leak Detection Page 1 #3

    Drain Cleaning Page 9 #7

    Sewer & Drain Cleaning Page 10 #5

    Camera Inspection Page 1 #8

Sewer Camera Inspection Page 2 #5

    Boiler & Burner Maintenance Page 1 #10

The results may vary some, the browser I was using wasn't clean...
Looks like the site needs a bunch of work...
How many people go out to page 6 through 10 looking to buy something?

This is what my sites look like:

    Sewer & Drain Cleaning CT

Sewer & Drain Cleaning New London CT

Sewer & Drain Cleaning Norwich CT

High Pressure Water Jetting Colchester CT

Video Sewer Camera Inspection Middlesex County CT

    High Pressure Water Jetting CT

    Drain Cleaning Groton CT

Did you find All Things Sewer & Drain Care? Most people do!

@ Redwood. I see what you have done, awesome btw. I have done kind of the same thing using metadata.....not working very well. It is also limited by search words. One more thing to change....

That is why I was telling you to list the towns and cities you service.
The site is basically very short on content so the meta isn't there...
Try right clicking and viewing the page source to compare the difference.
Which site has content showing up and which has a page of gibberish...

Some of these build your own site things like Intuit are incredibly lame.
I prefer a CMS based site, where adding pages is cake, and rather than a news page I'd blog the news.
And blog it daily if I had the time.

Hmmmm how could he have gotten that many listings?
There is only 60 pages on that site....
That Redwood must have something up his sleeve... He's getting about 7 listings per page....

Hubspot's Grader is okay as long as you look at it in a General Sense, the accuracy of their scanner is not all that great...
As long as you can discount their inaccuracies it gives some general ideas of what you have to do...

Here's one that I just put up recently...
Still new and working on it...
    But coming along nicely...
