No, I haven't had the need...
Everything I've wanted to do I've done with the Mac OS...

My brother recently converted his business computing to Mac and he has used Parallels to run windows for some of his software... But he's got some really weird stuff that is quite uncommon...

He also is running a Mac Mini-Server

Is that going smoothly for him?

I run Peachtree and they don't have a mac version.

I would love to switch to mac's but dropping the coin on macs to turn around and run windows seems......i don't know what the word I'm looking for is.......convoluted? counterproductive?

Actually their old windows server was counterproductive...
    That was why he changed...
Having 7 people twiddling their thumbs all morning at least once a week while their tech support guy tried to get the server to let them work was the impetus for change, The final straw happens the next day when the guy that was out of the office returns and can't access the server....

They are all happy with the new computers, the change over was easy and fast, and they have been bug free...

When they run Parallels desktop they run it side by side with the Mac OS, they can go back and forth without rebooting.

The only person not happy is the tech support outfit that lost a client....

I'm just a layman at it but have worked on both. I don't find Apple the fantastic, problem free, oasis many promote it to be.

Had viruses and lockups on Window and Macs. And the largest format will probably always have the most viruses and malware developed for it.

    Maybe that's just computing.
