Default Gross How could a restaurant operate like this?

Got a call for a sewer back up owner claims it just started to back up last night this is a local restaurant. I called BS on that one It's been backed up for at least a year. Some spots are 6 inch's deep I refuse to walk in it also has about 300 feet of over head branch sewer lines including many 2 inch lines and roof drains. Not touching this one until the septic pumper is there with me. The whole basement is full of junk and is nothing short of being a septic tank.

They finally admitted it's been backed up for a long time
If they don't call me back I could care less this one is bad!

Are they still open and serving food?

If they are I'd drop a dime on them...

I did a local Fried Checken Place recently, 3 or 4 inches deep when I got there, clogged floor drains...
I wanted to come back after closing and they insisted that I start work NOW!

Running an open basket machine at an operating cooking station.
Again I asked if I could come back after closing and they refused.

If nothing else the orders kept going out the door.

I however will never eat there again...

The restaurant needs to be shut down immediately! The FDA Food Codes and the HHS codes are there for a reason. Despicable excuse for a restaurant. The local city health department should revoke their permit until the issues are addressed.

In my warped & twisted way of thinking, anyone that knows of shit like this, and does not drop a dime, is just as complicit as the owner/operator of the "establishment" in question.

What are they thinking letting it go like that? It's a pizza joint too.

You might try calling the local cops on their non-emergency number and talking to them about what is going on...

They tend to have the numbers of critical people they can call in when something like this happens...

Good idea I'll give that a shot honestly I don't think anything will happen to Monday.
Unfortunately because where were located. If we were closer to Manchester or Concord I may have had better luck.

Until someone croaks of food poisoning, or cholera, or any of the myriad other diseases that lurk in raw sewage.
