These high-priced, over-paid, under educated architects & "professional" planners(?) just go thru catalogs and find expensive material that looks nice, and is absolutely dis/non-functional. The "Let's Go Green" bandwagon is full of them.
And they don't ask for professional opinions.

Just look at the bullshit with the low-flow WCs.
The Federal Grabberment up here legislated them into existence, & outlawed the manufacture and sale of the old school 3GPF toilets. No more choice!
And the earlier 1.5GPF toilets do not work. It takes 3 flushes to send the same turd the same distance down the line as the 3GPF did, so where's the saving?

I could go on for days, as this is one of my pet piss-offs.
These days, people with "higher" educations are considered "Professionals", while you & I are considered as manual laborers, or "blue collar". These so-called professionals know less about real life than any of us on this board, IMHO.
    Rant over.
What are you trying to say....lol...

totally agree, if the "educated" buy snow jobs, as in those Kohlers; no removable trap on a waterless spells clogging. At least the ones with removable traps keep the crudd out of the line and can easily be snaked without removing the urinal from the wall. The ones we like in AZ college are the original ones with the cheap trap for replacement; cuts down on time and service.

I currently don't remove urinals to cable them..just jump the cable thru the fixture...so I don't care either way..but would rather have regular flushing urinals...

Makes perfect sense when your pay is based off of what the final job costs.......

I have not had the pleasure of meeting a waterless urinal yet.
