    Default Waterless urinals

I have a bar and grill I built about 2 years ago. The City required waterless urinals and so did the owner, even against all my negative comments. Yesterday I went there because one of the urinals was backed up. After trying to clear it for an hour I talked them into replaceing it because it was filled with a solid rock of crystalized piss. I was wondering if anyone has a recommendation for some chemical that can be put in regularly by the owner to prevent having to replace any other urinals. I know Hercules has a product but I was wondering if anyone has experience with it and does it eliminate the buildup that is already there?

The only time I have run into a waterless urinal is when I went hunting. In this part of the country we call it a "bush". But if I had your problem I would use a product called SIZZEL.

    greetings ,
i have installed many waterless urinals in schools& office
buildings have never had that problem, almost sorry i put them in lol.
what probubly is happening is they are putting chemicals of some kind to clean the urinal or pouring stuff down the drain and ruining the cartridge.there by causing the crystalization.
i recommend cabling the line and flushing it out, then install a new cartridge as per manufactures instructions and inform your customer about the use and care and the neeed to change the cartridges on some set up time frame.
    have fun & make $

Have the cartridges been changed regularly or do they think these are waterless and "maintenance free".

For cleaning calcium deposits and urine salts I like Calci-Solve. Just be careful of the fumes.

Drummond has a product line called Javelin. You will find what you need in it.
The changed the whole line's name to that, but before, the used to call each product by its own name. The stuff WAS called Free-Flow.

They do not have a cartridge. They are kohlers and all you do is fill their liquid every so often. They say they fill it daily.
