    Default K-60 cable 600 rpm's and gloves ???

When running the K-60 with cable in hand running at 600 rpm do you hold the cable loose and let the foward advancing weight of the cable and blade run into the clog and just hold the cable loose?? If it binds let go of handle pull back and hit again?

    JH, ??

How did the Grappler gloves work with the K-60 cable
I have both grappler and yellow ugly gloves
I have a mit coming in the kit but don't know what it is left or righ hand
    My guess is right?

My mit is left handed, metal towards the cable. I apply a little persure, with an almost open hand, to the spining cable to move it forward in the pipe. if it starts to tangle I do pull back on the cable. If it starts to twist bad I just release the handle.

i was just going to post how im not happy with the grapplers. Expensive and i burned a hole in them about a week ago. They may have out lasted the yellow gloves by a month or so. But not much.

The grapplers last me about 2.5 months. I guess thats ok considering how many sewers we do a week maybe they are ok?!? i dont know, im back to using the yellow ones.

Dont hold your glove firmly on the cable for to long, you will feel the heat, and get a hole fast!

Me too all the time when I use them. Customers are saying wow machine must be dangerous if you need gloves like that. I use the ugly's when I need a little more grip.

Lol I have the ugly yellow gloves, great gloves but the rpm's of the k-60 burn right thru them. On the K-60 I like the cheap gray leather gloves. And yea lots of people think it's sewage on the gloves and think I am really workin hard lmao

Like Cuda, I use the $1.97 gray leather gloves from HD. Nitrile surgeon gloves as a liner underneath. I get about 10 jobs out of them, then toss for new ones.

I used to use the double palm gloves, but they actually wore out faster.
